Here the Princes Pallavicini have been winemakers since 1670 and have been suppliers of great wines for the Popes (including some ancestors …) and for Buckingham Palace
You will be welcomed by His Highness the Prince himself and also followed by a professional sommelier Ambassador …
You will descend into basements and turrets otherwise closed to ordinary tourists and here, or on panoramic terraces, you can taste the entire range of top wines produced in the surrounding vineyards.
You will then be accompanied to a nearby rustic country restaurant of high quality and tradition where you will taste a spectacular and exclusive nine-course lunch, each with a perfectly matched Principe Pallavicini wine.

The Pallavicini family has been present in the Lazio region from the second half of the 17th century with cardinals Lazzaro and Stefano Pallavicini.
Since then members of the family have had absolute importance, including several Cardinals, a Pope, Clement IX, and one of the first mayors of Rome when it became the capital of Italy, Francesco Pallavicini.
For centuries the Pallavicini Princes have owned various properties around Rome, Colonna, Gallicano and Cerveteri.
In the historical archives of Palazzo Pallavicini, documents have been found that testify to the supply of wine to the Vatican and Buckingham Palace.
“AURORA”
The name comes from the 1613 fresco by Guido Reni in one of the Pallavicini family palaces in Rome.
A fresh, pleasant and elegant white made by international grapes Chardonnay 30%, Sauvignon Blanc 35%, Viogner 35% in the Volcanic hills south of Rome.
Bright straw-colored; fruity and aromatic with notes of peach, tropical fruits and elderflower.
“ROMA”
What a name for a wine…ROMA!!!…
The colour is an intense ruby red.
On the nose it has aromas of red fruits, vanilla and spices.
The taste is powerful, yet elegant with round and wellbalanced tannins.
The finish is long and persistent.
Made on the Volcanic hills south of Rome, by grapes of Montepulciano 50%, Syrah 30%, Cesanese 20%.
It is excellent with meat dishes and hard cheeses.
