BORGOLUCE Estate: Loc. Musile, Susegana (Treviso)

RARE WINES – Prosecco

Duration on-site (hours. ±1): 5

Ninni and Caterina di Collalto, together with their mother Trinidad and Caterina’s husband Lodovico Giustiniani, welcome you to their historical estate, between Venice and the Dolomites.

1,000 hectares (2,500 acres ) of woodlands, pastures, vineyards and grain fields, in the heart of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. wine country: a farm that tends to this land to produce wholesome products and clean energy, in synergy with the environment.

A place to stay, for a long holiday or a short break, a world of landscapes, culture, flavors and sports, all waiting to be enjoyed.

Exploring flavour at Borgoluce.

A guided visit to our winery and tasting of Borgoluce sparkling and still wines, including a Sur lie, or Prosecco “col fondo” (with sediment), the authentic expression of the local wine culture, our Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. Brut, and Rive di Collalto Extra Dry, made from the best grapes of the Collalto hills, finishing off with the great reds Cabernet and Capifosso.

Plus charcuterie, made from the meat of free-range pigs, including “sopressa”, salami, pancetta and costella, buffalo-milk cheeses such as mozzarella, crescenza and caciotta.

Borgoluce’s Rive di Collalto Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore.

  • Falstaff 93 pts.
Brilliant, sparkling silver green. Smells clear on the nose, floral, of ripe pears and white peaches, a hint of iodine and lemon juice round off the bouquet. Crisp and juicy on the palate, slightly elegant fruity glaze, dry yet creamy, clear and determined in the finish.
  • Wine Enthusiast 92 pts.
Dry and crisp, this elegant vibrant sparkler has delicate scents of spring wildflower, white stone fruit and a whiff of wild herb. The bright creamy palate boasts yellow apple, Bartlett pear and a hint white almond alongside a silky perlage before a dry finish
