Molino Bongermino is a handicraft family run company specialized in the milling of different cereals.

We select only the best local grains and we grind them close to their harvesting area, thanks to our short supply chain.

Molino Bongermino was born from the passion of the agronomist, Pasquale Carbone, and his wife Maria Bongermino, biologist and daughter of a longstanding baker from Laterza.

We are today focused on ORGANIC and eco-sustainability.

In the most classic Apulian countryside you will visit the ultra-modern milling plants guided by your private Ambassador, you will follow a lesson in preparing fresh pasta held by a pasta master.

Then your Ambassador will take you to a special restaurant to taste a full tailor-made lunch based on products from the mills, in perfect pairing with Wine Spectator Top 100 Apulian wines.

ARRIVAL at the Molino and meeting with your Ambassador and/or a family member with a welcome aperitif: an amazing Apulian white sparkling wine, coffee, juices, typical Apulian sweet and savory snacks made with our products by our chefs.

VISIT of the entire production area of the mill with the possibility of viewing the milling process of a cereal (for example burnt wheat, typically from Puglia, or other cereal) through the STONE mill.

 

During the visit, your Ambassador will tell you the story of the mill, the products and the territory, and how here the tradition of Italian grains is happily reconciled with the innovation of ORGANIC and ECO-SUSTAINABLE.

LABORATORY Cooking Class of making typical Apulian pasta (ORECCHIETTE, STRASCINATI, CAVATELLI etc…) with a master pasta maker and our protagonist flours.

Our welcome guests will be able to literally put their HANDS IN THE DOUGH.

The perfect traditional lunch with the products of the mill

In a nearby typical restaurant with a menu based on traditional Apulian regional dishes made with the products of the Molino, also accompanied at the table by your Ambassador who will continue the explanations on the use of the many products of the Molino in the kitchen, on the recipes, the combinations with wines, etc.

Full tailor made 5-courses menu:

it can range from fish to meat according to seasonal possibilities and the chef’s inspiration to combine great Apulian tradition and trendy variations.

With a perfect combination of fine Apulian wines, including Antinori’s Tormaresca Torcicoda Primitivo (twice in Wine Spectator Top 100).
