4-course wine-paired full LUNCH in our classic Tuscan smart style “La Vinsantaia” Wine Bar with seasonal menu proposals in pairing with whole line of Capezzana wines.

In Carmignano vine was already cultivated in the pre-Roman era, about 3,000 years ago, as shown by the wine vessels and tasting bowls found in the Etruscan tombs.
In the state archives of Florence, a parchment dated 804 was found: it is a rental contract that documents how olive trees and vines were grown in Capezzana as early as 1,200 years ago.
In the early Renaissance, a woman, Monna Nera Bonaccorsi, built the first “casa da Signori” and nine farmhouses with the relative wine-growing plants: it was 1475.

Very ripe and rich, with raisin and cured beef character.
Full-bodied, with big, velvety tannins and a long, long finish.
A massive but impressive red. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.

This excellent wine is a relatively good value for the quality.
Intense aromas of berry, spice and pepper follow through to a full-bodied palate, with silky tannins and a rich finish.

“Villa di Capezzana Carmignano”: vertical wine tasting of 4 old vintages impossible to find elsewhere and usually reserved for professionals (vintages: 2018 – 2010 – 2007 – 2005).
Traditional Tuscan Full LUNCH consisting of 4 courses in the “La Vinsantaia Wine Bar” with a studied and dedicated pairing of our wines: appetizer with “Vin Ruspo”, first course with “Barco Reale”, main course with “Ghiaie della Furba” or with “Trefiano Riserva “, desserts with our famous Vinsanto.

– Those who stop here for more than a day will be able to visit the Contini Bonacossi Collection, one of the largest art collections donated to the state and today can be visited only by appointment at the UFFIZI Museum in Florence.
