AVIGNONESI’s COOKING SCHOOL: Tuscan chef for one day in “Under the Tuscan Sun” novel valley
This is your chance to learn how to make delicious healthy Tuscan meals and the perfect wine pairing.
Under the guidance of our winery chef, you will personally pick your ingredients from our synergistic garden and cook a whole ”primo to dessert” menu.
Learn how to make “pici” (typical handmade pasta, Montepulciano style), ”sugo all’aglione” (traditional garlic tomato sauce), pecorino flan with swiss chard puree, “torta della nonna” or many other dishes from the Tuscan tradition.
This experience also includes a FULL LUNCH following the cooking class.
Not only will you taste what you prepare, but our chef will then pamper you with a four course meal paired with our best wines.
All guests will receive a luxury gift bag with an Avignonesi apron, cork screw, drop stop and our recipe collection book

Supertuscan 50&50 TOSCANA I.G.T.
50&50 is a wine sprung from the friendship which binds the owners of Avignonesi in Montepulciano and Capannelle in Chianti Classico.
The first vintage of 50&50 was 1988 and it was born almost by chance during a jovial dinner and came up with the even blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Merlot.

OCCHIO DI PERNICE Vin SANTO di Montepulciano D.O.C.
Literally “holy wine”, the “Vin Santo” is a sweet wine deeply rooted in Tuscan tradition.
The first references date back to the Renaissance, which is also when the Avignonesi family first came on the scene.
To this date our Vin Santo and Occhio di Pernice are produced with the madre (yeast) that has been passed on for generations.
