Campofiorin, the “Supervenetian” from a 250 years old winery.

“Campofiorin is an ancient wine, because it is a gentleman, and therefore cultured, poised and sophisticated, but it spans time and ethnicities to remain as contemporary as every classic.
Just like Masi is a classic, which is after all a winery whose history has become both a paradigm both in the Veneto and in Italy… and whose relationship with Valpolicella seems to be the very epitome of the phrase genius loci”
(Leila Salimbeni, “Spirito DiVino” 2017).

Wine Spectator Top 100 2015 n.8, 95 pts.

Masi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Serègo Alighieri Vaio Armaron 2008

An elegant, impeccably balanced red, layering sculpted tannins with finely knit flavors of plumped black cherry, plum sauce, cured tobacco, dark chocolate and woodsy spice.

A rich vein of smoky minerality sings on the lasting finish.
